Each spring, usually in March, we offer a trip to a local importer of fine teas to learn about quality teas, enjoy a tea tasting, or experience a traditional tea ceremony from China, Japan or India.
Our host, Dan Robertson is a noted tea authority, regular contributor to tea magazines and lectures around the world on teas. Since 1995 The Tea House in Naperville has been an importer, blender, and purveyor of quality teas, and the organizer of the renowned 'tea tours' to China, Korea, Japan, Tibet, India and Sri Lanka.

Once a year we take a trip to Chicago's Chinatown to see the sights, sample the food and of course take some time for souvenir shopping. We take a tour around the Chinatown Gate, The Nine Dragon Wall, Chinatown Square Zodiacs, Ping Tom Memorial Park, Dr Sun Yat Sen Park and finish with a dinner at a local restaurant.
This trip does involve a considerable amount of walking, and is outdoors so dress appropriately!
