This is a practical, hands-on workshop under the guidance of a Reiki Master Teacher and Qigong Instructor.

Reiki is one form of Natural Energy Healing.
Reiki… Pronounced “ray-key”, is a Japanese technique used for stress reduction and relaxation.It can promote personal well-being, balance and self-improvement. Reiki… is “life force energy”, the same energy that flows through us and around us. This energy is not visible however it can be experienced. Reiki... enables you to absorb more life force energy. When our life force energy is low, we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed.When it is high, we are able to feel more happy and peaceful and better able to cope with our daily activities. Reiki… is safe, gentle and non-invasive. The energy is transmitted through the hands of the practitioner to the person who is receiving this energy.The practitioner’s hands can be held over or placed lightly on the person’s body. Reiki… works holistically to balance the energies of the physical body, mind, emotions and spirit. Reiki… is safe for all ages and can be used to complement or enhance the effectiveness of standard medical treatment.It is not a substitute for medical treatment. Reiki… can be learned by anyone who is drawn to working with this energy.
Reiki can create many positive effects. Relaxation and stress reduction are the two most common benefits of Reiki. When the mind and body are in a state of relaxation, the healing process and movement towards balance can begin. My clients often report feelings of peacefulness, well-being and serenity following a Reiki session.
Reiki can help to decrease pain and inflammation. It can release emotional blocks and enhance personal awareness and clarity in thinking. Reiki supports the immune system and can be used preventively. Reiki works to support the highest and greatest good of each individual who receives it. Reiki treats the whole person; body, mind, emotion and spirit.
Reiki is complementary in nature and should not be substituted for any kind of regular medical care. However, it will support and positively enhance any medical, psychological or therapeutic care you are currently receiving.
